Daphne Ashbrook had guts, and more specifically breasts, in her debut as Phoebe Willis, one of the many exceptionally hot cheerleaders in the film Gimme an “F” (1984), the unfortunately not-quite-as-skinful follow-up to the classic H.O.T.S. (1979). Even more unfortunate, the Long Beach, California, cutie remained clothed throughout the flick. Give me a B, give me and O, give me another O. Boo! This was after she’d already made a short round of one-off appearances in various primetime hits, and before she returned back to the land of television, where she made the bulk of her career. Daphne had regular roles as Liz McKay on Our Family Honorfrom 1985-1986, was Kathryn Anderson on Falcon Crest in 1988, played Alex in Hooperman in 1989, Annie Pendry in JAG from 1995-1998, Julie Graham in Pacific Palisades in 1997, Dawn Atwood in The O.C. from 2003-2006, and the series lead Jackie Kowalski in Hollywood Heights in 2012. It should be noted, because it’s kind of interesting, that Falcon Crest also starred Lorenzo Lamas, who became Daphne’s baby daddy, the two of them sharing a daughter. More interesting, perhaps, is the fact that this feisty female is the only actress to have appeared in both the Star Trek and Doctor Who franchises: she played Dr. Grace Holloway in Doctor Who: The Movie (1996), and Melora Pazlar in the TV series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in 1993. She also did an episode of Cupid in 1999, playing Mona Lovesong, a stripper who rolls around in front of Jeremy Pivens in lingerie with lots of cleavage. Give Mr. Skin all the letters, because he needs all 26 to fully appreciate this hottie!
